TUESDAY: REORGANISED

Bit of a strange post for you today- I LOVE reorganising stuff (sure any other visual merchandisers can relate!) anything from going through my entire wardrobe to rearranging the fridge. Its a bit weird (even ocd-ish?) because other times I am so untidy, but I find that life seems to go in cycles- when things get hectic, I find i’m really untidy until I can’t stand it any longer, and then I will blitz everything and go through a clean-freak stage until that wears off and the whole thing starts again. Ever since I was a teenager, I have a thing about re-organising the contents of my bag- it just feels so good to have a major clear out & get rid of (literally) baggage. Since forever, ive been so busy that I have been LONGING to reorganise my purse- Its such a small thing but its one of those niggles that you see everyday & think ‘god I need to do something about this!’ but you never get around to. Choosing a new purse is one of those annoying moments- it has to have the right layout & number of pockets for you personally that finding the right one can be tricky! So, when I came across this perfectly pocketed vintage burnt orange leather purse, it was game on. After carrying it around with me (ready to reorganise all my rubbish into it at the first available opportunity) for about 4 days, I finally did it! And it felt great. I couldn’t believe the crap I had been hauling around for the past year or so- including an oyster card (ive lived in france for nearly 3 years now) a travel card from 2009, an out of date Beechams, 3 plasters (for blisters I never got) and business cards from almost everywhere Ive ever been. I strongly encourage you all to have a clear-out, big or small- so refreshing & super duper practical! Happy Tuesday <3
